Hi TF2 division -
I, like many of you, am extremely excited about - and pleased with - the success of our Badwater server! Since the switch from 2Fort to Badwater, it's improved by over 4,500 ranks; an incredible accomplishment, for sure, and we should keep it up!
Unfortunately, that means Dustbowl isn't being filled. It's tanked by over 1,000 ranks in the same time, after a long period of improvements and consistency in filling it.
Gametracker rankings work based on average player counts; therefore, 12-16 players per server is better overall than 5 in one and 24 in the other, since it improves or maintains average player counts. It may not be everyone's favorite thing to do, but idling when you're away from the computer or doing other work is also helpful.
