COD 4 and COD Black OPs 3 Server Interest

I was asked by our Directors to look at dedicated servers for Call of Duty games for the possibility of having some hosted for members to play on. There are options right now for COD 4 and Black Ops 3 Servers. COD 4 Servers are available at 10 players to 48 players and COD Black Ops Servers are unranked at 18 players only. This information will be provided to our directors for decision but what we really need is to gauge the interest of members whether or not they would want to play such servers? Post here if you are a COD player and your interest in having a server to play on.

I had COD4 and played a TON back in 2010 when we had a good group of servers going. I tried reinstalling in the past year and had a hard time finding Punkbuster files for it, and a lot of servers were hacked or spoofing player counts. I can't see myself playing it again right now.

Unfortunately not a game I own, I haven't touched the series since our COD4 servers left (the first time).

You're just trying to get little old me back, aren't you? It wouldn't hurt to have a zombie server anyone could hop into when they wanted to play, then if that picks up, move onto an actual TDM or SnD server. I messaged a few people, hopefully they chime in on this thread.

Maybe �� Artimus brought it up since Hammer was talking about black ops 3. So I told him I'd see if there is interest. I think there might be more interest in small server cod4 or cod5 than black ops. Maybe more will chime in

I would love a CoD4 server...but then I'd have to have two things: 1) A standalone copy of CoD4 remastered (because I am NOT buying the trashy Infinite Warfare) 2) a computer that would run the game. All the same, I will gladly support in any way I can COD server making.

Yes to cod4 server, however, will not purchase the new COD to get remastered.

COD4 had a very popular Zombie mod. It's super ugly, but granted, quite fun with a good group of people.

A black ops 1 server would be cool. Miss playing the original Nuketown map..talk about a grinder type of map,

Well, when they brought back that one CoD4 server in OPX for a while, it was a zombie server that did ok. It was something we could hop into and have fun. And yes, as iSimon said, I was referring to the mod which I think is really fun and would be a great way to start. The server could always be changed over to Promod SnD or even to other mods for "events"... CoD4 is the last cod game eGO supported and it would be easier (I say that loosely) to bring some people back. Blops 1 or even WaW would be harder and even more of a hassle to get people.... As for Rowe, MacArthur,and 1000R, I believe they are talking about the original cod4, not remastered.
