Counter-Strike Global Offensive Jail Server So I leave the event today...

Before we leave the event - I made an announcement for whoever was free to join jail. I then explain that we are attempting to get our rank back up for our deadline.

I go into jail and I see almost no one from the event. What the hell? Everyone was able to take time out and come have fun in the event, but when we are trying to do a push to fill a server that we need to see improvement on - where is everyone?

We just had a full event server and now I see like 5 people from that event in jail. What gives? Do you people even want the server?

Yes I want the server I unfortunately wasn't able to attend the event or even play jail due to some unexpected events as soon as I get home I will go on jail and get all my friends to join.

With all due respect, Mr. Boe Jangles:

I've been playing jail everyday for the past 2 weeks, at least 2 or 3 hours a day and oddly enough I do not see all the leadership there.

Also as far as I remember scolding members like we were 5 y.o. is not part of the Advisors profile. If people do not want to play jail anymore, kill it.

And I do not want to sound like an ass-hole, but I do need to state my opinion. Hope no one feels offended.

Gonna have to agree with Sigma. We can't force people to play something they don't want to play. If they don't want to support it I guess that's the end of that. While I get your frustration fully at wanting to fill it and see the server do well, people get burnt out or lose interest

If they truly don't like jail and don't want the server, don't come and fill it. I have said numerous times that if you don't like a game mode or server, don't play it if it's not going to be fun. The thing is, if we fill the server with fun people how could you not have a good time? I can have fun on any of our servers with a few good friends.

The thing with fillings the server is that I don't think anyone will be as passionate about another server than they are jail. So if it's replace or removed than it's just gonna be a less populated server. This is just my own opinion btw

Ye I guess you have a point. But I don't know if any other server will be filled either. And if jail is removed Than we only have TTT which, atleast I've noticed, a fair amount of the CSGO population doesn't enjoy very much

This only proves that there is no real commitment to rescue Jail anymore. Time to let it go. And I say this with pain in my heart, but if we have tried everything and the Division still won't join together for it, we must move on.

TBH if jail is removed you wont have much a of a CS community left. TTT is fun for some but awful for others. Every other server we have had has failed horribly and jail is still more popular then to them. If jail is removed then I will end my DS subscriptions. Fair and simple. What many people have done is meet each other in jail or get to know each other and then who cares if these people want to do a popflash? They became friends through eGO and have a good time together. They don't need to be pestered into filling a server 24/7 just to show they want the server. People clearly want the server but they don't want to be playing it all the time especially since it's relatively vanilla right now and that gets boring some times.

When have I pestered before? A long time ago. This is the first time I have posted a fill jail incentive in months. I'm not asking every person to abandon their fun popflashes and comps all the time. I'm asking for a specific period of time, over the next 3 days (now 2) for people to be active in the server. That is simply not happening and I'm saying as a person who wants to see it succeed long term, it sucks.

I am trying to say that how we do in the next 2 days matters. People not showing up makes it really hard on us leadership to prove to everyone that we need it, especially when in the last week of an ultimatum and our rank has been going down significantly.

The jail server is fairly active. Many people play but not all at the same time. The people that are on at 3pm may not be on later that night and vise versa. I think we have a good player base but let's be honest jail isn't the game mode that your going to play 5 hours at a time.
