Hello everyone! Here are some updates that I wanted to bring to everyone.
1. Sheriff's Department Updates
First and foremost, I (Noah Haynes/RipplyTiger151) have resigned from the Sheriff position and EnviousRG has assumed the Sheriff position. He will be announcing further updates regarding promotions and other things over the coming days. I have great expectations for Mike and the future of the LSSD.
Also, for those who have not seen, the Sheriff's Department has upgraded their fleet and uniforms to be similar to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. If you haven't seen them, keep an eye out the next time you hop in.
2. Public Safety Applications Changes
Usually, this announcement may be something more for our recruitment team, but it is important everyone is on the same page just in case someone is curious on how to join an agency. Before, our application system was done in one thread and could only be modified by Leadership. Applicants received updates via PM and the posts were occasionally updated with statuses (and some applicants only looked at that).
After some discussion and work, we have implemented a new application system. Now, applicants will apply through a form on the site and it will create a thread in the Applications forum under Grand Theft Auto forum section.

3. Update to Rule 10 and the introduction of the airlines job
Now that I have stepped away from the Sheriff's Department, I will be overseeing the airlines job. More information will come out soon regarding this job but do not be surprised if you start seeing private jets and helicopters flying from Los Santos Intl to Sandy via the ocean and swamp. You should never see one of these flying over Los Santos.
To accomodate the introduction of the airlines job, we have made an adjustment to rule 10. It reads as follows:
10. Only whitelisted pilots are permitted to be in aircraft.

[td]Whitelisted pilots are permitted to fly the aircraft that are assigned to them. No other players (besides public safety pilots) should be in aircraft at any time. This means that hijacking aircraft or otherwise obtaining access to an aircraft is not permitted.
In addition, players should not spawn or drive any tanks, military jets, or armed helicopters in the server. This rule also applies to any vehicles with large guns on them.
Special exceptions may be made for roleplay situations but should be approved by the Leadership team prior to doing so.
