the server is just too good

apparently the server is so good that it is nearly impossible to get in unless a freak server crash or maybe the fire gods are in your favor when you click the join button. i know it is hard spiting up and doing a 2nd server but i'm pretty sure everyone saw the screen shot of the sever that was literally filled with edge gamer. if only we could find a way to divide up the server evenly i know everyone wants to play with each other and it makes it harder by having to servers, what with all of the amazing people among the edge-gamers community as well as the server community. i suggest we find some way we can accommodate this, i am truly tired of kicking people that 1 don't have an e, 2 having people have to kick people out just so i can join, and 3 (as of the previous incidence) having a sever so filled with other edge-gamers i can't even get to play or have to stare at fivem wait for someone to either disconnect, or leave out of the server, or being in said edge-gamer server and seeing people try and connect but yet fail until the next person gets timed out from the server. basically i do not have any other idea other than at the very least dividing amongs the two servers. i will gladly play on server two its just mind boggling to see 38/32 players before you even try to get on. i know this is all a work in progress i just felt i should speak my mind on the matter

i think we should have a notification telling people if they to try server 2 instead of join us at edge-gamers or have it optional if we know that server 1 is getting spammed would be a good idea

Very valid concerns and I mostly agree. A few points:

- We typically only start server 2 up in the extreme need for it. We haven't really been in situations like we have been in the last few days so server 2 will become a thing soon hopefully.
- Even when server 2 is up, there are stability concerns. We tested the waters before and had bad results with chat carrying over, sessioning and general connection issues. However, recently, it's done pretty good so we'll see. I'll have to check with Don about the stability of keeping server 2 up most of the time moving forward.
- When we have server 2 up, it hardly passes 15 players. This may be something we just have to have develop over time as some people aren't aware of a server 2 and don't have it bookmarked. From what we've noticed is that everyone still trys to connect on the main server so at times it's hard to justify keeping the second server up.
- I think with a pretty solid implementation of server 2, kicking with the message to go to server 2 & a short message about the reserved slot would be a great idea. This will need to be talked about at the leadership level but it is a pretty solid idea. It let's people know to join our second server where they can play, especially if server 1 is full of eGO members (which you can't really be mad about as long as they are legit).

With this being said, I'll talk with the other leadership and see what things are looking like when it comes to server 2. If it's stable and won't cause issues with server 1 then I'm all for it. But if it causes issues with server 1 where it is slowly emptying the server, we will need to further look into it.

haha. True! Someone from leadership will let everyone know sometime in the future, the plans of server 2. Thanks for the feedback!

I think even just having 15+ players is a good enough reason to have the server up, simply for the ability of our members to play. Such as he said, people have lots of difficulty (especially me lately) to just join into the server during normal (peak?) hours...
