How many of you attend anime conventions and the like? I know Comic-Con(s) are huge events, but sometimes they're geared more for being a seller's paradise and not really celebrate what brings attendees together in the first place: their appreciation and love for anime (or video games, comic books, etc). Was curious what conventions do you like to attend usually each year, or maybe have only attended one or two, or even looking to visit your first one?

Last weekend I was at Ohayocon in Columbus, OH where I got to take attend a lot of different panels on Saturday, and focus on cosplayer photoshoots Sunday. Adding Matsuri-Con and Colossal-Con as possible events that I may attend this year (as I was recommended by other attendees, especially Colossal-Con). Several of my photos are posted on Instagram under #ohayocon , and I'm actually waiting to see if the event staff will use my photos on their facebook and website pages.

I'd like to go to Anime North, fairly large convention they do in Toronto out here. Never been to one or Comic-Con before though. I seem to always miss out on these things and never have pals to go with haha.

I went to Fan Expo 3 years ago, was a great time. I got to play CoD:Advanced Warfare before release and that really had me excited. Got some free swag and photos too, was great. Haven't been to one since, nobody to go with really.

Was it you who was from Ontario? I don't know why that's ringing a bell in my head.
