Retakes is when the T's have the site already under control with the CTs trying to take back the site. This (as stated in the post) is not that.

Executes is where smokes will be thrown from outside a site with the Ts in position to take the site. The CTs are either positioned on site, set in a default, or possibly a fail stack scenario and will try and defend the site. IF the CTs on site die it might be best to setup for a retake.

So (as the name implies) this is Executes not Retakes. Executes are argueably more indepth and have different elements to gameplay. It's a lot of fun and people should come try it.

I haven't really been up-to-date on the forums, and when I tried connecting earlier today, it failed after 30 attempts. I'm assuming the server is down temporarily?

So far, not really liking the server, and the way it is handled. The queue practically does nothing. The "First come first serve" rule is kinda stupid IMO. If 10 people are already on and there are 5 people in the queue, you could possibly be waiting for multiple 20-round maps until people decide to leave. Also, you may be thinking, "what if they make it into the game from map change?" not everyone has a computer that loads in fast enough to make it. Even then, only one person can join (unless more than 1 person leaves.) Also, the afk manager I believe should be removed, or should only kick players IN the match. Ive been kicked for "inactivity" while spectating, which is pretty dumb. All in all I believe there is work to be done, and if possible multiple servers should be in place.

The 2 open slots are for admins to be able to join if there is a situation in a match with only members/pubs otherwise it would be a 10 slot server. IF a person chooses to connect via console, which disregards the server slot count, then they are choosing to be in the waiting queue to play the server. First off I don't even know if the waiting plugin has an option to switch specs in and out but even if it did the people in the server were there first and it is unfair for them to be forced out of the game because "They've played too long". If we did add the scramble feature who would be taken out? the top player, the bottom player, some random guy? It would feel awfully unfair if David and I had been playing the whole time and then I randomly get switched out but David stays in.

Now about the new servers at this moment there is hype behind having this server out which means there will be lots joining if the player count stays consistent enough to warrant a 2nd or 3rd server we will look into it but for now it is too early to tell.
