Thanks for watching guys, I'm glad you learned something teridon. The reload trick is very helpful especially for weapons with a slow reload like the at4. Yes my fov is at least 80 possibly 90 now I raised it after I got my new monitor.

Get yourself a scope for the sub machine gun. Looking at your video footage, when you start shooting, the recoil causes the sight block reducing your vision on to the enemy.

I play with FOV 100. It might be slightly distorted at the edges but I like the additional room.

I've tried using a scope for my sub-machinegun, but I don't like the tiny FOV you get when looking through it. I'd rather see enemies all around rather than just the ones in front. I think you're right about the recoil causing blocking, but if the enemy is spotted I don't think it matters. If the enemy isn't spotted -- well yeah it can be a problem.

I would love to use the 4x but I would rather run lightweight. Spotting really helps with the sights getting in the way though. In the past I've always used x8 rockets but since switching to LW I feel it forces me to make those 4 rockets really count. LW is very handy for reaching cover faster and making myself harder to hit when I'm scrambling out in the open.

Excellent observation "PAPA"

Hell,

I was the admin that temporary banned you last week. Let me give some insight into what went into the decision . . .

First (and I'm kind of skipping to the end here), I NEVER permanently ban anyone. As far as I remember, that's true of all admins in BC2. We temporary ban, and then fill out a ban request which is reviewed by leadership. The ultimate decision goes to someone not caught up in the game at the time, with an objective eye. From my experience, the folks who make that decision give the players the benefit of the doubt, not the admin. So long as you don't casually drop an N-bomb, flagrantly base rape every game, etc., getting permanently banned is nearly impossible.

Second, banning based on hacking is EXTREMELY difficult. There is no easy way to find out, absent someone posting on Youtube that they have a new hack. There are some clues, but they are rare and sometimes found only by luck.

Third, players protest hackers ALL THE TIME. Most of the time I just blow it off, maybe check the current player list and check k/d, but if it gets extreme I end up going to the gameme stats page and checking. Most of the time that's just so I can go back into the game, tell the players I've checked and don't see any signs, and move on.

Now, as to your situation, the "rumors" have been circulating a lot over the last month. It's probably not quite this bad, but it seemed like every third time I joined a game someone was complaining. In one case, I got into a game right at the end of a game, and I heard from three or four regular players that I needed to watch you. That game ended, and you didn't rejoin the next game. (Which led to them saying, "See, he knows there's an admin there now.") I checked your stats real quick, and told them I didn't see it, and moved on. A couple urged me to dig deeper, and I said I would.

A day or two before I did the temp ban I checked your stats again. The weird thing (to me at least) was that the stats for Hell No. 1 were about 60% higher than the stats for minichaingun. Here are two soldier names, by the same guy, and one has a "good player" k/d of 2.8 while the other has a "wow" k/d of 4.5. These are not two soldier names you've used over time, but two that you've used at about the same time. So I made a mental note to sit back some game and just watch.

(I should point out that I work from home, and if I finish a work project I go through a routine where I'll check the Heavy Metal server, scroll the chat log to see if someone is complaining, join the game if they are, and leave. Sometimes I do it just if I want a break from the work too. On this time I saw that you were in game, and someone was complaining, which reminded me to double check the stats.)

On the day that I banned you I joined a game, you were playing, and someone complained. I acknowledged the complaint and just resolved myself with "well, we'll see what happens." During the game you killed me twice; the first was when you flanked me, nothing suspicious there. But the second you were hundreds of meters away, I was moving laterally to you, and I died just as fast. I don't know whether I was spotted by your team or not. Suddenly I was dead, just like you'd got the drop on me before but you were 300 meters away, and just as fast.

Now THAT was suspicious. And ENG kit, 300 meters, against a running target moving laterally . . . It would have taken me at least two full magazine to maybe get a kill at that range. Frankly, I said "Someone else has to look at this" and decided on the temporary ban. As you know, the ban was denied.

Hope that helps explain what I was thinking. It really isn't personal, although it might seem that way. In my experience, we all really do TRY to get it right every time. But like most humans we come up short on a regular basis. If not then PM me and we can talk about it.

Papa

At no time do I believe that this guy is a normal player ... in face-to-face combat he always appears already shooting, 30mm long range cannon shots almost all cause more than 80% damage "AND ONE SHOT" I played with him yesterday and he was alone IMPENDING the attack of an entire team, since he prioped to record the videos that "record" and post on youtube for all to see, I understand that there are still many newcomers coming, but a single man against 16 players? yesterday he was from my team and I called him "RAMBO" he was alone in the front line and did not let anyone pass. see the log

I am only commenting here because my name was brought up initially.

As a player I love other players who are experienced and can play this game. We all know BFBC2 rewards those experienced players who work at getting better. But that statement does not mean experienced players get free rides from being side killed or killed from players who come up from blind spots. Remember, the game is designed to have NO hiding spots and always multiple angels you can be attacked from...mostly.
With that said, unless you are exploiting the UAV hill with a tank, flying, or using a vehicle, your player is subject to being seen, spotted and killed by someone not on your "attack" radar.
Papa described a good situation above that I am trying to explain. Basically there are times when it does not matter how good your are there will be another player who fires at you and kills you and there was nothing you could do to stop it, simply because you were attacking another target or you had no idea that other player was there. Spawning and being immediately killed is a good example also.

With that said, when a player shows a 105/6 KD in a game I get really suspicious. And when that player is on foot, not even using a vehicle, I get off the chart suspicious. And when this goes on game after game for 3-4 rounds, I cannot describe how suspect this is to me. Simply because the basic statistics of a full server dictate you cannot watch everywhere all the time and there will be players that target you that you do not expect. On foot you will encounter tons of 1 on 1s. Hell seems to come out on top with every single 1 on 1. Which to me is suspect. When I am saying he is on foot I mean it literally. He does NOT stay back secure at a base while everyone else attacks and gets in the middle of it. He attacks and get all up in it. And still somehow survives...all while doing some major killing.
I have speced him a few times and have seen him get hit, turn and kill everyone he encountered.
In no way is that hacking or cheating, but like papa said, it all adds up to red flags that point in that direction.

BLA BLA BLA BLA..................

OTHER EXCELLENT OBSERVATION

The cortoga and the papa commented all I wanted to "SPEAK" good onbserations, are from people experienced on the battlefield, (Simply because the basic statistics of a full server dictate you can not watch everywhere the time and there will be players that target I do not know what to do, I do not know what to do, I do not know what to do. of "RAMBO" because of these attitudes he rotates the APÉ field and throwing "aff"

>> Also, I do not agree with the philosophy experienced players will drive away inexperienced players and so forth. <<

If he does not behave like the other players HELPING YOUR TEAM or YOUR SKATE the tendency of the new players and of even older ones and REALLY lay down the server ... IT IS INSUPORTABLE you play and know that there is a single man who is defending a whole team ....

for some people it can become "INCONVINENTE" accredited that the server has SIM lose, over time it becomes an unbearable person ...

all the details that cortoga and the papa mentioned are imprencindibleis to a judgment

I've watched the vid's a couple of times and certainly have seen some good things that work well for Demon. Doing them like he does and getting the results as he does are still a universe away for me tough! He has excellent control with the mouse, going to a target so quickly, my bones can't do that even after practicing using internet provided practices. Skill with a heli, wow, but I'm gonna get that down and I bet he even does it with a keyboard and mouse!

I don't understand the FOV though, when targets get that small for me I can't even see then let alone sight on them and fire before I'm dead, he must use a huge monitor!

Thanks for the kind words Slick. You are correct, I fly with keyboard and mouse, default controls. My monitor is 24 inches, so it's pretty big but the real advantage there is it's 144hz. Ever since upgrading to this monitor from a 60hz my gameplay has improved considerably. I highly recommend a monitor like this for all fps gamers!

So it ends like this?

just because he has a 144hertz monitor he can play alone and win the game instead of his team?

So I'm going to buy a monitor of this 144Hz and this solved my problem?

finished a match now at 16; 54 when he entered had 29 players when the match ended had 22 players ... he enters and people leave.

Maybe we need a second server, for noobs.
Anyone ranked 116 or higher in the current server cannot play on the noob server.

I really wish some of these players would focus on getting better rather than complaining about players who are better than them. Posting more videos to my channel with the hope that players will improve their gameplay by watching a good player. Some players choose to just chalk it up to hacks and refuse to accept that this game has an almost infinite skill cap. Look at bananas at4 skills for example. I can't even fly with confidence when he's on the opposing team. I'm still improving and so should everyone else. Inexperienced players will always be at a disadvantage. That said, I think the noob server idea is a good one. Hell I'll even provide this server if it's desired.

Many of us just play to have fun. I would say more but have not been provoked to. I never say much. I will say this tho. If you think that players need to be put in a group that is skill-capped or not. That is wrong.
Ugh.. Players come to our server because they like the rules enjoy the other players that come on (as do i) If you want to play like an MLG god and piss people off then do it. Might want to just tone it down. "only so much try hard" I get it tho, its must be hella fun hitting same targets and decimating the other team right?

Ill give you a run for your money tho boy ill tell you what. :D Happy shooting!

Haha you're damn right it's fun! But it sucks that my fun results in others frustration. I've been trying to tone it down a bit, playing assault kit a bit more. But still, if we're losing you better believe I'll be bringing my A game. Thanks for being my copilot today, had a blast in that game. Also I was streaming today so you can watch the playback if you want. Twitch name is minichaingun :)

You are an awesome pilot. Ill give you that. Kinda funny when people "notice" when i am on a team. while winning but it's all the same i end up with about a 35-16 score.
It was a whole lot of fun. I might attempt to get with members and balance the teams out. Might have to test somethings. Cant do it by rank. also i cant do it by score. Ill have to get with leadership when i have time that i can sit down and talk with them. Most EGO members are good players. But i can't split them based on being a member or not. So we shall see how this turns out. Any input from other members would be awesome but for a different thread. I really don't write a whole lot on forums because my English is not the best.

That sounds like an awesome idea! I would love to play in some organized matches. Like clan wars or something where the teams are picked before-hand and balanced. Those games would be intense! Also, I would never have guessed you are not a native English speaker so don't let that limit you. :D

My spelling is rather bad. So i just don't write thing's very much. But thank you i do try.
hell i have been here for years.

its interresting, how admins / game itself will handle skill-gap getting wider and wider. in my oppinion, this will kill the game in long run (and not lack of new players). because going with k/d 30:0, 50:0.. means, someone has lot of deaths compared to low kill amount. and noone likes to be mocked.

Old payers can exploit game mechanics (e.g. tanks on UAV hill or "drunk" heli style in safe distance). if used right and while being on superior team, it kills the game (heavy metal only, of course)

admins have only 2 bad options:
1. ban supperior players (regulars) and without reulars, game dies.
2. leave supperior players play..casuals or new players leave and never come back = game dies.

My opinion is, superior players should start behaving "responsible" in terms of tactics used. casual player have to FEEL, thet they have at least a chance.

does not matter, it its mimichaingun (aka demon) or others..

I totally disagree with this. This is why crap games like BF3 were made to create some sense of 'fair'. These games are about war, they are about winning. The proper response to getting your ass kicked over and over is not to whine and complain but to GET BETTER. Like Demon I have thousands of hours in this game as well ( a ridiculous amount, as my kids remind me lol) so I've gotten pretty good. Well? SO CAN YOU!
