So I'm new to the site and all. I come from pg and in pg, it had a little bell like the one here "Notifications" but I only seem to be notified by friend requests. I would like to be notified for more stuff like when people reply to my threads or when people reply to a thread I posted it and so on. Is there a setting for that. Btw sorry if this is the wrong forum. Its just general so nothing specific, I went to tech talk but figured this forum would be better.

Yea i didnt even realize there is no bell or notifications unless friend requests, thats too bad. Hopefully they can eventually get around to notifications from replies / likes and what not. Or it exists and I can't find it.

Unfortunately that isn't a feature of Vbulletin. There is an option for doing it via email but not on the site. I haven't really seen any plugins that mimic how xenforo did it, but maybe that can be developed by some of the new tech team members.
I like to use the "New Posts" button and browse new replies from there. If a user Mentions (@) or quotes you, it sometimes shows a notification.

Not at all! It took me AGES to get used to Vbulletin, then Xenforo was a whole other time as well. Hopefully this feature does exist out there because I do like. Xenforo is good software but doesn't boast the development and security that Vbulletin has had for years (I feel). But cool features like that exist and would be cool to see.
