Official eGO Global Event Ideas

Hey Guys and Gals, I'm Aaron. I'm going to be overseeing Global Community Events for EdgeGamers moving forward.

If you have an idea for any type of Global Event, in any game that you believe would be:

• Competative
• Fun to watch
• Easy to manage for EdgeGamers Staff

Okay, I need more than just an "overwatch tournament". Give me details, what type of tournament, etc.

CSGO AWP Only

This was a huge event on PG, usually filling up the event server (32 slots) for the whole hour

Its like the name says everyone is given an AWP and sometimes a pistol and throughout the event the map changes, and other things are unlocked like Bhop Enabled, Knife Only, etc.

We can have a pubg tournament. The custome games can host up to 100 players and i belive max 50 players on 1 team. If not there is deffently 10 man squads. In the custom games we could fix the drop rate of weapons and make specific guns drop on the map. Example snipers only mellee only pistols only crossbows. So we can customize as much as we want CrossCheck can give more info about this

By global event we mean also between communites. CS:GO awp only could be made into a team v team awp match between communites. I may be a gmod EC manager but I also have vast expierence in cs go. if you have any questions regarding a certain event, and weather or not it would be eligible for this feel free to ask and I'll give ya an answer.

Me Makalala And BoltAction Came up with a Event Where 16 contesters 1v1 a Person of their choice and slowly goes up the scale kind of like a bracket. Makalala is the one hosting the Event and BoltAction And i are the Assistants. All losers of the event get to change their TeamSpeak Description to I got rekt by [who ever they 1v1'd] this is because we dont want to have any severe for the losers and anything they cant personally do. The final winner gets a free Picture of them standing over all the contesters with the gun of their choice {has to be a csgo gun} If you want to summit a person who you think would be GREAT for this event then you can msg me Bolt or Makalala On TeamSpeak Discord Or Steam. This Event will show everyone what skill you have with in csgo. You can also spectate you favorite contester of the Event. =)

Okay, I need more than just an "overwatch tournament". Give me details, what type of tournament, etc.

What I have in mind is, teams of 6 register and we make a bracket. First, second and third place gets prizes?

And you can set up the games with overwatch's community servers. Sorta like the battle of the communities tournament.

I think it would be amazing to have a Team Shootout competition in Fistful of Frags. The game is exciting to watch and since it isn't a game currently supported by eGO we'd all be on a more level playing field. As a free-to-play game it's easily accessible to anyone in the community. This was a pG event once or twice and it was extremely lit. I think the whole code of conduct thing could be countered by like a big red warning in the event post.

We should have an event called ''Last Edgegamer standing'', to start this event off we would make a thread stating whoever wants to participate should comment down below, then we make a bracket where each player competes in a 1v1 for e.g Chidori vs Rasengan in one bracket then in another Sharringan vs Byakugan then lets say Chidori wins his match and Byakugan wins his, they both would compete to move to the next bracket ( Chidori vs Byakugan )! I think it would be fun
Oh! and the winner of the whole thing would receive a prize like vip for 1 month

True, it should be like a saying in swedish: "Den som ?r med i leken, f?r leken t?la" basically means if you're playing, deal with it. Because Cards against humanity would be awesome!

Update for pubg custom games. Max is 10 man squads for 100 people. There is specific guns only that can be set, and everything. Lile something i literally just thought up now is flare guns only. The only way to fight is to get guns using flare guns only (will have to be tested), and since there is a zombie mode we could have 1-6 vs 124-129 (zombie mode supports 130).
