Remember the Mattel handheld electronic football game with the red LED pips? That was before the 2600 I'm sure. If that counts then I figure I was 6-8 maybe.

I believe the year was 1977, I was 8 years old. We got the Atari VCS (later renamed he 2600). Combat, Video Olympics and Starship!

If I remember correctly Starship was DANG hard to play.

1st PC games I played were on those large flexible plastic disks (8" floppy I think). 1st console I had was the original NES, but some of my friends had an Atari. lol

Just found out the Super Star Wars series is on digital download in both the Playstation and Nintendo stores! Time to go back and finally beat Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.
