I've wanted a racing sim wheel for a while now and I just recently got one a few weeks ago. I've been playing a lot of Assetto Corsa and DiRT Rally, and I wondering if anybody here in eGO has a racing sim wheel and would like to hang out with me, because I'm getting bored of just practicing by myself. They are still ultra pricey, but the one I got was for a decent price, but still pretty expensive. I bought a Thrustmaster TMX for $190. The wheel is really high quality, and has metal paddle shifters, 900 Degrees of rotation, and force feedback. The wheel didn't come with a stick shift, or a clutch pedal. The pedals consisted of a brake and an accelerator, so the pedals are kind of mediocre, but they still work pretty well. The wheel can also be mounted on your desk. Overall, the buy was totally worth it considering that I got it for a good price, and that the wheel allows me to upgrade to a better pedal set, and a shifter, and if I wanted to, a handbrake.
that's about it, it will cost me at around 150 dollars to upgrade the pedals and shifter, but I think it's a great wheel to start off on.
Also, driving with a wheel is not as easy to get good at as it looks lol
