Hey All Fellow =(eGO)= Members I survived the Wrath of Hurricane Florence.

Unfortunately my Home Town of New Bern, N.C. took a direct hit from the

hurricane, preliminary estimates of more then 100 Million dollars in damage was done and

many people are suffering, then devastation its unbelievable. Many People are still with out

power and are being fed by volunteer agencies. I spent five nights in the dark, in unbearable

heat and humidity, i am one of the lucky ones, 34 North Carolinian's lost their lives as a

direct result of this deadly storm. Please if you can say a prayer for us cause we need all the

help can muster. I know that God will make a clear path for us.

Thank You in Advance, SwampFox5000

Natural disasters suck, luckily for me I’ve never experienced one and hopefully never will.
Good luck S Swampfox5000 . Must be a terrible thing to go trough, stay safe

I'm so sorry to hear about that but my prayers go out to all of you and may the lives lost rest in peace, amen.

Glad to hear you're good. Good luck bud

I live here in Florence, SC. I thought just cause of the name of my town I was gonna get hit good. It went right over us but did like no damage at all. I consider myself extremely lucky and I'm glad you're ok.

I've never been to the coast so I don't have a fear of hurricanes or even natural disasters. In fact, I literally live smack dab in the middle of North America. Anyway, it's good that you are okay man!

Swamp, I am feeling your pain, im in Wilmington and recently went to work on a trailer for Duke Energy in Morehead and had to get parts in Newbern. That whole area took a hard hit. we finally got our power on after 5 days and internet and phone just today. Glad to hear your doing good!

Yeah man, my uncles aunts and cousins all live down in Florida and they've been feeling it too. My prayers are with you, wishing the best.

For the record, we can even feel the effects of it down in Illinois!
