A Story

Oh boy, it's almost been two weeks since I posted here. I haven't made any progress on the story because of school and a lack of interest. I was just taking a little break from this, and now I am back.

-I plan on doing some artwork for the story, or getting someone to do some for me. This artwork would pretty much just include what the characters would look like, and how they look in different in different states of being.

-For example; the servant's name is going to be Marisa. She gets this name from Saber after their fight. Marisa will visually change after she stops being satan's servant. She will start wearing white instead of black. Her hair will be also change to the color white silver.

If you are interested in helping me with the art, then let me know.
I'll be looking at fiveer until then.

I've been looking at fiverr, and I have five candidates that I've found that interested me. The downfall is that I couldn't find an artist that didn't have a negative. I know that sounds stupid, but I really wanted something that perfectly fit my standards, but I am going to have to settle with the next step down. Some of the negatives were;
-Some were way to expensive (like 35 dollars for the basic package lmao)
-Some didn't offer revisions (Basically, they wouldn't remake my request for me if I didn't like it)
-Some only drew chibi art (I was looking for anime style art because I think it would be better that way)
-Majority didn't fit an art style that I am going to continue to be picky about.
-Some just didn't take descriptions for original characters, They wanted concept art/designs to draw them.(they are still way better than anything I could ever draw)
-A lot wanted me to pay more for extra things like clothing, color, and even the full body.

I know I sound picky, but I am trying to make my characters be visualized. First impressions to me are so very important. I want my mental image of my characters to be interpreted really well. I guess I am just going to have to settle with an artist with one of these flaws. Anyway, this is all I wanted to talk about.

Sooo uhhh. It's been over a month...
I wanna get this thread going again since I am back.

Since the last post in this thread, I really haven't done much for the story except for one thing. I have paid my own money on Fiverr, to get the main character drawn. If you are wondering where it is, then just look at my current avatar. Yup, I got her illustrated.

The main two things about the picture I'd like to address is her clothing, and how old she looks lmao.
-As you know, Saber is a goddess, not a school girl XD. The dress she is wearing is way out of character, and I disclosed with the artist that she is supposed to be wearing something different.
-Another thing is that Saber is still a goddess, and not a school girl... again. She seems to look like she is barely over the age of 17. In my mind, she should look a lot more matured. I am not saying that I want her to have giant boobs, but she looks way to young to me. When I imagine an immortal goddess that fights wars, I don't think of a school girl that just got out of bed lmao.

Anyway, I will be talking to the artist. I do like this image though, even with it's flaws. It's still a good piece of art.

November 21st of last year was the last time I posted in this thread. it's been over two months now. I kind of lost interest in developing my story so I could focus on school more. I even limited my gaming for school. Now it's the second semester and I ended my first with passing grades. This semester feels easier than the the first so far, and it's been easier to keep up with work as well.

Now let's talk about the development of the story. I've had some good progress with the story from the past two days! I've did some more plot writing and I have good character development in there! Here is what I've done:
-I've written an important event that happens with Saber towards the end of the middle of the story.
-I've written about Marisa's back story and a reason why Saber and Marisa team up.

I've wrote in depth about these events and will share them with you guys when I can. I really like what I wrote for these events because the important one with Saber basically humanizes her and breaks the expectations that goddesses should be perfect, but in reality nothing is perfect. I think I've done some great character development with these characters and I feel good about it. My friend who gives me advice for the story, didn't have any problems with what I wrote for these events, and told me that if I can execute it properly, it will turn out great. This friend also isn't scared to give me plenty of constructive criticism.

There are things I do really need to write about though. The next thing I am going to do, is write about and establish a very good relationship between Saber and Sakura. This will be at the beginning of the story, but I am not sure about how long it will be. All I know is that I have to establish the two goddess's relationship very well, and develop Sakura as a character very well, so that the reader doesn't feel like she wasn't that important of a character anyway and that the entire story is just stupid.

I'll have that stuff for you guys whenever I can!
