Jailbreak - Giving Zombies Lower Gravity

So on zombie days there are certain spots where zombies can't get to because their gravity is higher than t's, also they quickly die because 30 t's can easly deal 2k dmg within 7 seconds, with the 1:3 ratio it makes it near impossible to even defeat the t's.

What I'm suggesting is that we lower the gravity for zombies and higher the hp to 5k. With lower gravity zombies can actually do certain jumps that t's can and zombies cant, with 5k they can also not die nearly instantly and have some time to try and push them and possibly get some killed.

At the moment zombie day is usually won by the t's, except does maps which have no good spots to camp at.

it isn't higher really, but your movement speed is increased, meaning you also jump faster

still good idea though

Technically you can go the same distance with a normal jump only difference with zombies is that it’s done faster(idk if that makes sense) But you are able to make the same jumps as normal gravity. Although LJs are harder cause you need to make quicker strafes

+1
I know the gravity wasn’t changed technically but it should be lowered because jumping any height feels awful as a zombie.

Also, a little unrelated, zombies is nearly impossible to win as ct because Ts can just hide in climb and shoot at the CTs. There’s no real way to balance this game but I wish there was a way to make it a /little/ more fair for CTs.

-1.

But the zombies have 2500 HP. They would be extremely overpowered with regular gravity. I don't agree with the 5k HP and regular gravity because now T's are going to run out of ammo killing all CT's (which even if they did get low HP, all they do is "pursue another part of the map" to not get moved to spec).

What do you want the T's to do against that? How on Earth are they supposed to kill CT's? Give them unlimited ammo?

Zombies Mode is an instant CT win if you implement this. It's a terrible game mode and should be replaced with Hide and Seek or Micheal Myers.

2.5k hp isn't that much, there's way more t's than zombies, for example if there's a group of 15 t's in one spot and a zombie tries to push them that push is your last because they deal soo much dmg. Also with the running out of ammo thing, just don't waste it, 30 t's have enough ammo to block the zombies from going over to them, the t's just easly waste it by peaking out a bit and trying to hit a zombie across the map, they waste it on that and they don't preserve the ammo.

The t's should find a spot where whenever a zombie pushes and tries to jump somewhere they can't because the t's shoot them while he's mid air.

Zombies mode won't be an instant ct win if the t's play smart, if they waste their ammo and they start acting carelessly they're going to get killed. A special day where it's CT's vs T's shouldn't be an easy win for the t's, t's shouldn't just be able to complete let's say hard jump and be able to sit there and do nothing because it's near impossible for zombies to lj that far, it should be a bit challenging, the t's have the bigger numbers, they have guns and they get to some preety good spots to camp at, all the zombies have is extra speed and extra health.

Overlooking this thread there isn't much input from players. If possible I would like to get some more feedback on ways to improve this special day.

Like I said in the post before the amount the zombies can jump is the same, yet its quicker. Also the Ts were already nerfed by removing infinite ammo. This leaves very few maps that the Ts can successfully win. I think its fine the way it currently is.

1. I agree with Kuantum that there should be a hide and seek mode added. Maybe when you are found you turn into a seeker.

2. This argument is very map based on maps where everything has recalls it?s almost impossible for t?s to win however on maps such as avalanche where you have ice climb I agree that low grav and health should be added.

3. What I think should happen is that the zombies are given normal jump but not health as on some maps that would be unfair and unbalanced.

4. As long as we are talking about changing Special days please change free day to either the old version or make it less time.

Id personally go with some sort of HP based on how many T's there are and a very slight gravity change.

I've already said my piece on it. Zombies on some maps work really well (good hiding spots, no recall buttons, etc.).

If you want to "improve" it, I would see if it's possible to make the Zombies faster (with regular gravity, none of the stupid jumping faster BS) and have their HP at 50 and make them respawn.

But really, I don't mind if you remove it and add Hunger Games or Mike Myers into the mix.

I don't think giving less gravity and giving cts health is a good idea, maybe one or the other but definitely not both. As other people have stated that would be an instant CT win. But I do think implementing one of these wouldn't is bad, probably the more health would be best in my opinion.

I think the low grav could be overpowered especially on certain maps but do like the hp increase to the number of t's idea.

Nope. Completely rework this special day. As it is now, next to Freeday, Zombie Day is the most disliked special day. What I propose is that we change Zombie Day into a more Infection based special day. This new day will be called "Infected", and in this special day everyone (CT's and T's) will be teamed up with each other. One randomly selected player from either side will be chosen and will become the "Alpha Infected". That player is now tasked with infecting the human side by any means necessary. When the "Infected" side kills a human, that human becomes an Infected and is now part of the Infected team. The "Alpha Infected" will be unkillable, and the regular infected will have 10k HP. I intend the infected to be nearly impossible to kill. (If the Alpha is to disconnect or somehow die, maybe falling off the map, another random Alpha will be chosen from the current Infected. If there are no infected alive then a random human will become it.) Humans will have access to guns via armory and will have infinite ammo. The round time for this special day is 6 minutes. The goal of the Infected is to infect all humans and the goal of the humans is to survive until the round ends.

-1 I have not seen this being a real big issue I personally think it is fine the way it is. I agree with what peoples peoples said.

Right now zombie day is generally disliked by the majority of people on the server because rounds usually end up the same way. T's getting a high spot on a game like climb and zombies never being able to reach them.

I don't know if giving HP and changing gravity is going to do much with its current state. Personally I prefer the old school zombie freeday where it was just T's shift walking around and getting killed by a CT if they were caught running.

Maybe to spice up the current zombie day we can make it so where the T's who killed killed by zombies turn into zombies themselves with slight buffs to zombie to give them an actual chance to win.

+1 on changing the gravity slightly and adding a bit more health or may give each zombie 1 nade each. One or the other, though I think 5k maybe too much health since ts don't have infinite ammo anymore.
