Bad Company 2 Punk Buster screwing up

Just got kicked from server by Punk Buster , just got in server , approximately 30 seconds later I'm getting banned / kicked for 2 minutes it said ???

Yep. Punkbuster has been having issues for almost a year now with kicking/banning people for no reason and anyone who contested the ban with PB gets outright denied with no responses. We lost a lot of members over it and it's totally out of eGO's control.

Wonder if EA has anything to do with it , maybe they are trying to get rid of BFBC2 , or is it all games ?

I don't think EA has anything to do with it in this case... Punkbuster isn't really controlled by them at the end of the day. Seems like some programs are being picked up as a "hack", but Punkbuster won't tell anyone what programs are triggering this. It's a false positive - so picks up as a hack, but isn't really. I've only seen people complain about it for BC2.

It's hitting some other games too, but as Simon says, PB is saying why.
