How the hell does this thing work?

I pretty much play the same way all the time...supply ammo, spot, balls-on to take flags...but I can't figure out what the graph means, mostly because I don't get where the "points" come from and how I can go negative without a *lot* of suicides. And the graph seems to alternate between days of play...high then low.

Couple of captures...the first one is mine, the other is a sorta-random player.

Player Trend is related to your own performance. The negatives mean you did worse than what your average is .etc.
