Can we get some kind of automated tutorial, even if it's a first time join, read through these steps type tutorial?

I can't tell you how many times I respond as a PD officer to a white male, bald, white shirt, blue jeans committing blatant crimes as their first actions in the server. The response we always get? "I'm new, I don't know what to do" as well as "I can't hear you, my mic also isn't working".

So lets help them with this.

Lets get some kind of GTA online roleplay basic tutorial that A. explains how to chat in server via text /ooc /loc /twt etc. B. How to ensure your voice communication is enabled along with your microphone and that the input is set up properly. (A microphone test here would be helpful too but I think this is wishful thinking for an in server tutorial). C. What to do - This means suggesting they go to the driving school marked with a briefcase on the map and labeled driving school, suggesting they get a job at the job center marked on the map, how to get their first car either from the auto dealer or the player run one. D. How to get involved in a Roleplay community without crime being the first action they take.

I feel that just having some type of prompt that pops up each time they join the server unless they tell it not to, or one that pops up until you are registered as an =e= would cut WAY down on these less knowledgeable players. Some of them are experiencing GTA RP as their first GTA online experience, so they don't understand all the ins and outs or even how to communicate.

Oblixion has something going for this. He's been amazing with the RC program getting things prepped for the newbies.

As far as tech side, we can see if we can add this to our automated msgs

The main thing I'm pushing for here is an ingame tutorial of some sort. The goal being to prevent the need to admin half of these guys because they didn't bother to read the loading screen or the text chat when they logged into the server. But when you slap them in the face upon login with KNOWLEDGE on just the basics, they've got no excuses at that point and we aren't killing RP scene after RP scene dealing with a guy who hasn't bothered to get his voice chat sound and microphone set up.

The form is nice, but it doesn't solve the problem I'm describing. This is a problem resulting of players joining the server straight off tracky server instead of going to the forums or the discord to learn about the server. This means the absolute first experience they have in the server is IN the server. Thus having some kind of on screen pop-up tutorial that covers the basics would help save us from a lot of chaos we experience with all these Mr. Cleans joining the server and immediately breaking every law in the book because they don't understand the concept of a roleplay server or how to do anything else.

I can change the character menu for first time joiners, to instead of instantly display the menu, display the rules and ask them if they need a tutorial.
