Example: I'm in CS:GO, as I usually am and all of a sudden my connection times out. I check my Wi-Fi, go on Google, everything works fine. I tried updating my drivers, reconnecting, restarting my laptop, but it keeps happening. Can someone help me?

How is it connected? Distance to router? Router model?

Simon Simon My laptop is connected via Wifi, the router is 1 floor below, and it is a Rogers Arris XB6

Out of my experience with this issue, I learned a long time ago that if everything works but CS:S/CS:GO, sometimes it's a good idea to check to make sure if you have an AVS or firewall, it isn't interfering with the game.

It sounds a bit silly, but it worked for me years ago when I was pulling my hair out. I almost wanna say Simon Simon gave me that advice actually.

I think I did! Years and years ago haha.

Are you running some sort of antivirus or firewall other than the one included in Windows?

Ah the cursed Rogers routers... lol.

Here are some potential fixes for your random Internet disconnects issues: Reset your router, restart your smartphone / computer. ... Update your WiFi adapter drivers and WiFi router firmware by checking the manufacturers' websites. Contact your ISP and see if there are any connectivity issues in your area.
