Xbox Headset help

So my brother plays xbox and wanted me to help him find a mic. Anyone got any suggestions on good headsets or can give me info about the jack that they have so I can figure stuff out.

Turtle Beach has some great stuff. I personally have a Turtle Beach for Xbox. The padding isn't the most comfortable now that we've had it for a solid 3-4 years but it is a good headset I know they have some great padded headsets nowadays.

If he has a newer console, and the controller has a 3.5mm port, any headset will naturally port into it, just need to find a mic+headset combiner thingy i forgot the name
