San Andreas State Police
The San Andreas State Police is proud to announce immediate openings for the San Andreas Department of Corrections as a Corrections Officer. To provide background on the San Andreas State Police's involvement in the Department of Corrections, please read the snip-it below.The Department of Corrections is overseen by the San Andreas State Police. Corrections Officers hired by the San Andreas State Police primarily operate out of Bolingbrook Penitentiary in Sandy Shores. Corrections Officers, while not direct members of the San Andreas State Police, are hired by the Colonel and Sergeants of the State Police to ensure a smooth and just operation within the State Prison Facility. Corrections Officers report to the Prison Warden, responsible for day to day operations of the prison.
Until a Prison Warden is appointed, Corrections Officers will continue to report to the Sergeants and Colonel of the SASP.
Qualifications
Individuals interested in joining the Department of Corrections must present the following qualities to qualify them for a position as a Corrections Officer.- No felony listed on criminal record.
- Must have a Driver License & Commercial Driver License.
- Completed background check by the LSPD or BCSO.
- Background check must be provided at time of interview.
- During Open Interview session listed below, a background check is not immediately required.
Hiring
Prospects interested can contact a San Andreas State Trooper for an in person interview. Interviews will be conducted at the discretion of the San Andreas State Police staff.Open Interviews
The San Andreas State Police will be offering an open interview session SUNDAY 3/7/2021 at 3:00pm ET. Applications should show up in professional attire ready to answer a series of questions from the Sergeants of the SASP. Background checks on qualifying candidates will be conducted following interviews.Questions may be brought to a Sergeant of the SASP at any time at Mission Row PD.
