Battlefield 2042 delayed until November 19th.

Looking at the beta gameplay footage I can't really say that I am surprised. The game looked very unpolished and needed a lot of work done. I just hope they take this extra time to fix whatever they need to and hopefully they don't release an unfinished game.

What footage did you see if you don't mind me asking, I'm assuming you were talking about the official gameplay trailer and not actual beta footage considering the Media Embargo hasn't been lifted yet.


One of the devs said they were fixing up performance issues mainly, since they want 64v64.

edit: Nevermind just watched 30 minutes of gameplay in HD, looked solid for pre-alpha gameplay to be honest, the game is unpolished but it doesn't look bad at all.

I'm willing to let them delay it so long as it allows for a polished product and we don't have COD:MW situation where I'm essentially downloading the game files twice

The main reason why I waited to Pre-purchase. Just about the same thing happened with BF4.

I've read some stories that it could be delayed until march. I hope the open beta coming up goes well.
