March Madness: March 17th - April 4th, 2022
Event Description
March Madness will be a staggered event from March 17th - April 4th, coinciding with the NCAA Championship. Before the tournament begins on March 17th members will have the opportunity to submit an NCAA bracket made by them, and will receive points as the event progresses. Throughout this event there will be six events hosted that will be considered “winnable”. These events will be hosted as the tournament progresses (i.e. Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight, etc). Those who win the events will receive extra points, but this does not mean they are guaranteed a prize. During the event’s timeframe players will also have an opportunity to earn points solely off of event attendance. There is no cap on points earned, if there are three events in one day, you can earn up to three points! We hope to see everyone at these events, good luck!

Bracket Creation
Before the event you will have the opportunity to submit a bracket that will be scored on accuracy throughout the event. To fill out your bracket click this link: Bracket Creation, fill out your bracket, and click print. Once the print menu shows up download it as a pdf, then name it: forum name_bracket. Attach the file in this google form. Brackets must be fully completed in order for points to be awarded (all 63). ALL BRACKETS ARE DUE BY THE END OF MARCH 16TH

Points will be received through event participation, bracket accuracy, and winning events. Please refer to the spoiler below for more information on how points are recorded and valued.

1 pt - over 33% correct picks per round (prior to Elite Eight)
2 pt - over 50% correct picks per round (prior to Championship)
3 pt - Winning a highlighted event

As previously stated, any event attended will earn you points. There may be more than one event in a day, but each event will only earn you a maximum for 1 point. There will be 6 "winnable" events hosted on the following dates:

Those who earn the most points throughout the event will be eligible for a prize. Only the top eight participants will earn a prize. Any gift card received will be Steam or Amazon. The prizes are as follows:

5th-8th - 1-month DS
