Counter-Strike Duplicate [CSGO JB] !spectate

We should have an !spectate (!s) command that brings up a list of alive players. You can then specifically choose the player you want to spectate.

Sometimes you are unable to cycle through all alive players while spectating as you normally would by simply clicking on your mouse.

This can already be done by typing spec_player "full name" in console but that can be tedious as this only works if you put the players full in-game name.

Admin command to move a player to spectator can remain !spec "name" while typing !spectate or !s will allow players to choose who to spectate.

!watch and !spectate let's you watch a specific player (just like the console command but with proper targeters). Usually after using that the inability to cycle gets fixed. !specmenu could be nice on other servers though.

Good info! I actually completely forgot !watch existed and have been using spec_player like a noob.

Having an actual spectator menu would benefit Jailbreak as well. A players name can be too short and similar to another alive persons name or they can have a name that cannot be easily typed.

!specmenu can be the command and having a single letter abbreviation to the command like we do for !hide (/n) would improve QOL.

There are a couple different ways of working around that, you can use player IDs !watch #123 or a full name match !watch #Jacko or another targeter. !spm is useful though for when you want to shuffle through many quickly (and in a specific order unlike CS:GO which goes at a seemingly random order).

There is !spm as an alias.

there used to be a !specmenu in ttt which let you go between players, not sure if its still there, you could just add that

MS There should be one on the awp server if it’s possible! It would be greatly helpful because it’s just nightmare when you need to watch a specific player

If you get the bug where you cannot switch players you are spectating with left or right click, hit your 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 keys (Make sure you don't hit a bind by accident). This will most times switch to another player and fix the issue letting you use left or right click to cycle players.
