Completely new to GTA V

I just bought GTA V today, so fucking excited. I know I'm super late to this game but none the less I love all the GTA's so hope this is fun as well =)
I got 500k in game money, was wondering if people were willing to maybe give some tips before I start maybe as a complete beginner?
