Duplicate JB stop gatekeeping ghost

ghost should be given to everyone, it will help server population and keep people engaged

according to my statistical analysis people leave the server when they die, if they had the ability to go in ghost mode it will keep them more engaged most likely keep them on the server

for a DS exclusive they get auto bhop in ghost..

I'm not saying no to this, but if you die and leave cause you can't wait a few minutes for another round, that's on you for being impatient.

Also, JB rarely ever has issue with server population seeing as it's way more than or close to half full 80% of the time. Only time I've ever seen it really low is close to like 6am(EST), even then sometimes there's still at least 10-15 people on.

not sure why you are blaming the player for being "impatient" if you played 3+ hours a day of jailbreak 50% of that you're dead just sitting there. yeah you could tab out and do something else but sometimes people are just locked in and if they had access to ghost then they could practice jumps, climbs, learn the map etc...

i doubt theres more than like 5+ people that only have DS just for ghost, there's no harm in changing this MAYBE -$5 for the month but i do believe that in the end it will help and bring new and ACTIVE players to the server

I havent played JB since march FOR A REASON. My personal computer is down and I have done all my gaming off a steam deck. It really really is not easy trying to do JB games on a controller; not to mention administrating, which is somewhat expected of an LE to do if nobody else does. I play JB still and I know a thing or two about it. In fact, it's the ONLY reason I play CS:GO. Stop trying to attack my credibility. Would you be doing this to Custom too if he poked his head in? It's kinda mid ngl.

I'm starting to doubt you have anything to actually back up the subject. Not really a problem but if ur going to say you have a "statistical analysis", it's kinda baiting someone to ask for it.

Back this argument you pose with some actual facts or something that shows this isn't gonna just make a handful happy, and I'll +1 ya. I'm just kinda neutral on this till someone makes a good point

sry you're right i am baiting but pls do not bring jesus customstats into this mess...

i dont have any graph or anything to "100% PROVE" but playing jb for years a lot of people insta leave after they get killed / free killed, especially in the beginning of the round, having that extra option to go into ghost will keep a few players into staying on the server instead of leaving.

we could make it so non DS do not have checkpoints & autobhop so DS is still worth buying if the supporters only have DS just for ghost

Personally, i dont use ghost.
Laggy on high ping, limited time depending on when you die, ONLY get it from RTD. Even when we had it for everyone i didnt really use it. Having said that, i know a lot of people like ghost.
We know you dont want to take away perks from DS, especially something big like ghost.
I'm not for or the against the idea, it could go either way and it wouldnt really affect me in any way.

I noticed that there is always somone that posts against the idea becasue they either dislike the person that suggested. I have no idea about your realationship with kazz and this could all be satire but you got pretty heated at the end there.

I don't know kazz beyond a few bullet points, don't have much of a problem with them either and I'm actually not -1'ing this quite yet. I'm not against the topic at hand but before we go stripping perks from the people who are supporting the community, I'd like to see some sustenance to the discussion. I mean I've played JB for a couple years too. I've seen people leave after dying; but how do you separate boredom from rage quit, having to go do something, or otherwise just switching games.

I mean I really don't think we have all that many people who do this leave and rejoin thing, it honestly doesn't make that much sense to do because you are way more likely to miss the next round anyways.

So, again. Kinda want to see some data?
I DO like kazz's point here about just making the features inside the ghost menu be the thing that DS's get; that's an actual constructive way to make this make more sense.

But; it alone still sounds like maybe something that's going to make a few people happy, which alone is still a reason; albeit not the best one. I'm asking for someone to make this make sense! Not discounting it yet. Stop trying to make this personal. I suggest we get back on topic too.
