I didn't want to report this as a bug because it is not specific to the dust2 server and I'm pretty sure only Valve would be able to fix this. It seems the February 64 bit update may have caused this and I see many other players are experiencing this issue. But basically the game crashes when you zoom into a scoped weapon and fire. It just takes you back to the desktop or steam library, the game continues to run but the window is gone. So you'd have to hit stop in your steam library then re launch the game. There is no error message. I tried to contact steam support about it once before but they basically said "idk just deal with it or ask someone else"
It seems to be random, because I hadn't been having this problem for awhile but it will just happen suddenly and out of nowhere. Not sure if there is a way to specifically trigger this or what. So I just wanted to see, does anyone else have this issue? Or has anyone been able to find some kind of solution? I tried playing CSS on a different PC and changed the settings from full screen to windowed no border and it didn't crash at all, but I was reading that this doesn't work for everyone. I also read that one could play the 32bit client, but then a lot of the audio files are missing and do not play. I can post my PC specs if needed later and also the second PC that I played on.
