Pretty cool concept car from BMW

I saw this when it came across digg the other day and I was blown away. Truly an innovative concept but I'm not too sure how practical it would be for a daily driver or even a cruiser. I think the crash safety would be on par with any other BMW because under that skin is a rigid frame that absorbs the energy in a collision(think NASCAR style roll cage). I would like to see more about how it's built and what is actually under that skin that changes the shape of the car. When the hood opens and you can see the intake manifold I was like OMFG! I definitely would like to have one but they are going to be ungodly expensive I bet.
 
I love BMW they come up with the best designes for my taste any ways.
 
Wash with like colors. Do not iron. Might shrink into a motorcycle. 34% Cotton 66% Metal. Use Tide with bleach if ketchup splatter occurs. Do not dry clean.
