Need new headset....

So recently I wanted to get a new headset but decided not to because this one I have works just fine. BUT the morning after I decided this I woke up and look at my headset cord and wouldn't you know it, part the the cable was stripped and I have no idea how it happened. During the night sometime I must have stepped on the cable when the headset was on my desk and toasted the cable and after messing with it trying to fix it it is still messed up and I've had this headset for around a year so why not get a new one?!?! So I've been looking around and I am thinking about getting the Cyber Snipa 5.1 Headset.

What do you guys think?
(FYI: I know how a USB headset works so thats not what im asking) ;)
 
it looks like a really good headset... if i had $60 and an only headset, im sure i would buy it too!
 
in my opinion 5.1 SS headsets are a rip i have just plain headphones ad i hear everything better then i do on my friends cybasnipa 5.1 headphones even with everything turned on no difference you better off just going with a good set of headphones with a mic or a removable mic i got one for ya right hear wal-mart

Why dont you get the saitek cyborg it looks pretty good. I mean they are our sponsor and in your price range so id consider those as well.
 
I do not mean to break the bank, but this is pretty nice. Amazon has it much cheaper, still expensive. They have lower models too, but i like the brand. The 161 looks decent. If you take good care of it i can last you a long time.

yeah i think i would go with the Cyborg, they look extremely nice and i wish i could have a pair myself
 
Badger is a good man! i hope that i can get that headset. Maybe ill save up and buy one here in a month or 2. My current headset is a cheapie from walmart and its held together by ducttape lol.
 
The one I have (well HAD really, its in pieces on my desk now. Was kinda messing with it >.>) anyway it was one I got from bestbuy. It was decent but not as good as the Cyborg! I can't wait to get it!!!

It gets a bit uncomfortable after about 7 hours straight of gaming and not taking it off and it doesn't have the cushions like yours does. But if you can pay for it I would say go for it.

Hey i have the same set...you have any issuse with in game play? i can get the mic to work in the sound recorder on my computer, but noone can hear me ingame.....weird...

I have that headset on right now and it feels wonderful and sounds nice..
 
My favorite headset is the Razer Barracuda, but the Saitek cyborg looks pretty swank as well, and they sponsor eGO. Seems like a winning deal if you ask me.
