DoD: Free Demo

So the DoD demo came out for this weekend and I want to find out what you TF2'ers think about it, whether you're new to it (like me) or if you've had it for awihle.

We should probably play each other, or the actual DoD division to see how we do (How badly we get hammerred), because the health system is so different! No medic's or healers, in a game where getting hit loses 75% of your health is a lot different to TF2. So, any fisrt impressions on the game?

I actually like the game, far more realistic than TF2. I'm probably going to buy it since it's only $5. But, yea it's definitely harder with no healthpacks and such. I enjoying grenading people.

I tried it free, played for a couple hours, then bought it. For $5 it's AWESOME! And having an established eGO community there helps a lot!
It's very different than TF2, but then, so are pretty much all FPS. I noticed that the game play tends to be more serious and competitive, and I think that it's due to the more "realistic" nature of the game. It's easier to relax and have fun in a game when your opponents are cartoon bat-swinging hyper active skinny guys with Jersey accents than it is if your opponents are tough looking guys with very real looking guns! It's a different world than TF2, and while I still prefer TF2, it's a lot of fun too!

yea i already got cee and tf2 and thought it sureley just a worse versoin of them but it really isnt its a mix of both but more army like i love it

I played DoD:S before buying TF2. It's pretty good, but I got bored of it after awhile. Then I decided to buy TF2 and I got hooked.
