Motivational Music?

What bands do you listen to when your laying down your best pwnage? I have been making making genre type playlists that I listen to help give me a better mental edge and I'm just curious what everyone else listens to.

I only play TF2 and DoD with music on. I have to listen when I play CS:S. Sound is a lot more important on that game. But when I am on TF2, trance music full blast with game sound off.

For me, I find that any song I know well enough to sing to gets me into my groove. I usually just sing along and play at the same time.

I listen to the same playlist in the same order now for over 2 years its got disturbed, avenged sevenfold, godsmack, rammstein, and a few other artists on it.


I have found that without music, I do much worse, esp in Css, which I find very odd.

It's hard to perform well in CS:S while listening to music. You need to hear the footsteps and such. Generally, though, anything upbeat like hard rock or metal is good. A lot of people like techno, but I prefer metal.

I listen to music when I surf ! Gets my motiviation and adrenaline going. I don't listen to music when I play normal CS:S, since Frustration blocks the music >:O

Hehe, I am the same way, but never turned the game sound off completely. Switched from trance to drum and bass a few months ago. Now I almost exclusively listen to www.di.fm drum and bass channel.
