2 fallout 3 problems

alright, i really need some help guys and i stink at figuring these thigns out, i cannot find useful soluitions anywere. first of, if anyone has fallout 3 for the comp, have you noticed how the mouse acceleration is SLOWWWW? is there a way to turn this off? i hate it, it would be only good if i had a controller or somthing, and also i have a pretty good comp and other people have this problem to. the game just gets laggy at times at like the fps wont go past 60 :\ is this part of the problem? because of this, it seems like any time it drops 5 fps it feels like your playing at like 20 fps...

What v-card do you have and what v-car settings you have?

yeah system specs will give us a base idea of what your working with, as far as frames being no higher then 60, make sure vsync is off... some games actually cap their fps in game I dunno... I haven't checked mine... I just maxed everything I could out and played..

i have a high end pc and the game appears to have a frame cap of around 60 fps. i got solid FPS on high but in the wasteland it dropped so i changed it to medium and only got 61 FPS. i have vsync off. also i have a razer mouse and can change mouse accelearation in that.

Sounds like you are getting stuttering... Go to tweakguides.com for right now and read their tweak guide on TES 4: Oblivion, it will give you a good idea of some things to tweak that may help you... otherwise, we need your system specs

I work at a Cyber Cafe and we have some powerfull PC's yet Fall out 3 lags when nukes are used...so i think its normal...Not 100% sure....I did not get the config the PC's here at work *Sighs* If i did they would all be over clocked

ya, i got an hd 4850 and vsync is off, i guess the game lags a little, i got the same thing with the 60-61 fps thing. o well its still amazing and turning up mouse sensitivity doesnt change the acceleration thing that happens

Urm, there is a setting under Nvidia control panel called 'maximum pre-rendered frames' set this to '0' so there is little to no mouse lag. I hope this helps.
