So I'm thinking either A: A spy situational guide of some kind (way too many of these as it is), or B: Battle Medic How-To.

I'm leaning towards B. Any tips? I've already written it, really. I just need some sweet clips.

Also. Does anyone know if jumping over someone's head can land you a saw hit without them hitting you? It works for spies, obviously. I'm thinking that's one of three advanced maneuvers.

Discuss, and I'll let you know how my progress is coming along.

If you need help with sony vegas, im your man, im currently working on xosniper and bunnkykins sniper duel :p

Tip 1: make sure you have either a soldier, demoman, or heavy around for when there comes waves upon waves.
Tip 2: In CQC always use ubersaw, if possible from behind as this builds uber for conjunction with tip 1.
Tip 3: Make sure there are no SGs in range of you.

That's what I was going to cover. I was going to make it more so I don't see medics fall without a fight when the meat shield goes down. Ideally, a medic could take on ANY class 1v1. I'm going to focus on that, since if you're in a massive crowd, get the heck out.

Only class that gives me trouble as a medic is a scout. :(

But yeah, you basically covered everything I was going to. I was also going to cover how, in rare cases, the medic is an underpowered demo and can take out SGs if given enough time and no interruptions. Which is rare on Black Mesa, but fairly easy on Goldrush.

I hope most medics that see it (assuming I make it) don't run around and try to fight without healing people. That's 90% of it. Buff them all, then supporting fire. If you're caught alone for some reason, then you fight. If there's more than two, run. If there are two, camp a health pack and keep your distance. Basically what I'm going to demonstrate.

Needles have an odd quality. They will hit a target way after you've actually shot them. So you can run for cover while still scoring hits and the HP bonus. Which is nice.

I think you should make a "frag video"

Have players submit their best frags and use the footage.

^^ That is a beast video. If eGO did something like that and uploaded it to n00bflicks, then it would give us alot of recognition. Those are some beast snipers :D

Hiya Zinayzen, here's my bit, if I may :) -
That's cool that you're going to do the whole "don't see medics fall without a fight when the meat shield goes down". I try look for a buddy but then there's times you just gotta go aggro, or sometimes even help your meat shield since every class is a lil slower (besides scout/ other medic), so you see em having troubles takin down a scout or something, it's your turn to switch and attack :) I only really play medic (almost 30 hours- with bits of engie these days though :)) More and more I'm tryin to fight back or just rush battle; I heavily rely on my blutsauger. I have the ubersaw but I don't use it as much, I know I should- just that since most classes that you fight are long range (gun) based, it's harder to run up to em, rather blutsauger and heal while yer at it. What I noticed though, that ironically because of that, you can actually surprise people when they usually expect a blutsauger from a medic. But speed of the medic can be used to an advantage of course, and how the blutsauger gets that nice long time of pew pew before reloading, also, making sure to aim well above the head so the syringes can drop down on them or like you said, shoot and hope they run into em (haha). There may be the problem w/medics just fighting w/o healing, but really, as we all know, if your team mates are alive w/you, you can fight only better! Plus if you get an uber going and if yer in a tight spot, hit it and run :D Also, for a battle medic, medic train is awesome. The fact that ubersaw gets you 25% uber and with another fellow medic w/ubersaw, can go a long way! I'm sure you already know most of this, but just thought I'd try help :) Hit me up on NecroNancy in steam if you want help w/testing or something! I'm not super great but I can try :D Sorry for such a long message!

Thanks for the advice.

Generally as a medic, distance is your friend. Because you've got range, you can see rockets coming, and you've got less of a chance to be trapped. But usually a quick direction switch from running away to charging an enemy can be really effective. An Ubersaw to the face sucks.

I've noticed engineers have an alarming tendency to do run after you trying to melee you, regardless of whether they're in range or not.

yeah it's always kinda weird when it's medic vs. engie, when I play engie or medic vs vice versa, almost feels like some kinda stalemate (I guess that's the word for it) despite medic having better weapon choice on hand.

Engineer, Melee? Not a chance, if you is comin against me as a medic, Im gonna shotty you (if you are a spy, I mught make you taste metal.)

Another tip, if in 2fort, waiting for friendlies pushing from the sewers, hide in the water and ubersaw people as they drop down to charge your uber, go low on health, blutsauger them :D
