Just recently my LCD monitor has been acting up on me. Everytime i turn on my computer, the monitor takes about 5 minutes to turn on. The power button just blinks then finally i get a picture. i figure its just taking longer to warm up and turn on. the thing is its only 2 years old. Is this normal? should i be looking to get a new one soon or what.

yeah it shouldnt take 5 min for it to turn on, sometings up

i vote borrow another monitor from some one and do a test cause if it dose it then its a card problem and if it dont then its a monitor problem me thinks :|

This happened with my girlfriend's father's shop computer, the PC would boot fine (brand new), the LCD (4 years old) at the highest point would take 30 minutes to turn on. Bought a new LCD, no issues since.

Ya I plug my brothers LCD monitor in and it turned on right away. And now my monitor is officially dead, it doesnt turn on. So i guess im off to buy a new Monitor. Anyone have any suggestions?
