HI there i have been having his problem for countless times.
My high ping!
it goes to about 300 to 350
i heard i can lower my ping by lowering my graphics.

Lower graphics tend to helkp you ping and more importantly your FPS.
you need to look over the advanced video options and check which options has a * by them which just shows that way the game recommends so you take the down 1 below and the appl to see how it goes.

i have my graphics in game toned down and i can play fine.

Because of your location Diamond. Malaysia. That is very far from the servers. I think that [Taiwan] has a server. You should try asking one of them for the IP and maybe play on that server.

lowering graphics only reduce fps rate, not ping. Ping refers to your internet connection speed with the server. FPS is a combination of your ping, cpu and gpu performance. Unless your computer is a very old one FPS will not hinder your play.

rates are very important and sometimes the wrong rates completely mess up your connection
enter these 4 things into your console and it should help you a bit...

net_graph 3-if you need help with the readings the net graph puts out just pm me and ill explain it

this should lower your ping a bit and decrease choke/loss

Ok this may or may not help what you need to do is go to your control panel and open your network connections. Then right click your Local Area Connection and hit properties. Then around the middle of the window that opened you see 4 items with all four of them having check marks under This connection uses the following items: Uncheck QoS Packet Scheduler. This from what I hear only works with xp pro but may work with others what QoS packet scheduler does is reserves 20% of your bandwidth for updates and such. .....aiya you guys give me the hint on lowering the graphics is worse i got 400 above ping....got kicked out of my friend owned server!
