ok bascially my brother is coming home from university tomorrow and the steam acount we have is shared between the two of us, that kinda thing.

So it'll probably still just me playing but IT MIGHT BE HIM!

I'm gonna really try to make sure he changes out in-game name from '=(eG)=? Green' to something else when he plays (most likely it'll be 'Don Pedro')

So that's just a heads up until after Christmas when he goes back. Hope this doesn't cause any trouble~

If it's the same steam account, your name chould be changed to

=(eG)=™ Green [GUEST]
- Or something like that. I have seen others do the same.

eGO does not permit it's members using anything other than their respective tag and name on the eGO servers.

Correct. It is an instant kick using admin, which includes admin chat.

As long as you have admin on our servers it is a MUST that you wear our tags. Since it will not be you wearing the tags, you must have [GUEST] behind your name.

By wearing the [GUEST] tag you will not use any admin abilities, you will follow all of the rules just like you would normally do, and you (the original account holder) is responsible for anything your brother does on your account. I.E if he let's out a curse word, he would get banned or kicked on the spot.

That might not work, Cr@sh. He said he's coming home, which unless I'm reading it wrong means it's the same computer and same Steam account.

So you can't ban him because you'll be banning Green, too. Unless of course there's a secret admin way of blocking for a limited amount of time. I don't know your ninja admin ways. ):

The best advice I can give is if your brother plays on eGO servers he has to use your name, so why not play on other non-eGO servers? If he has a tendancy to swear or stuff. It wouldn't interfere with you in the world of eGO (he might accidentally use admin chat by accidentally pressing the @) which could get you banned. We wouldnt want you being banned for something he did now, would we?

thanks for the help everyone The chances are that he won't be playing on EGO servers anyways but i'll make sure he knows the deal if he ever does.
