i like to think i got some skill, and im not afraid to admit ive seen better then me. for instance i know clarko usually makes me bang my head against the wall cause i didnt get my shot off a split second sooner, and players like spicychutny and maddog19 put up good battles. i would like to see alot more of the sniper oriented players and see how i compare. if you know some good ones put em down on the thread, or if you think you got skills pm/ goto blackmesa server, cause thats practically the only map i play anymore.

You cant really rate sniping skillz, I am self proclaimed awsome on 2fort, I can be beaten im not like "super duper OMG I cant kill him! awsome" yet Its the same on toyfort but if you put me on any map im not familiar with sniping on, there is no way Im gonna win. A way to actually be able to rate snipers is on a sniper only map, so theres no rockets or anything flying at you. Just my thoughts.

Foxtrot is top in my book, we always get in sniper wars x, Clarko, freezedidd, boomsta are good also. i know theres a bunch of others just to early in the mourning
Thats on the blackmesa server that i have played with
for me on blackmesa it is usually who can get situated first or who has backup by him. i can go about 5-10 kills before they get wise and come stab me in the back.

kaela was one of the best I played... thats the real reason I became a sniper cos of kaela I wanted to win, so I got better and better

I was good at one point. I still can make a good shot here and there. Like midget I played against Kaela so I got better at it. My favorite place of sniping has been 2fort but I'm starting to play sniper on BM. Again how good I am depends on how good my team is at keeping the spies away.

I have to say i've been sniping with and against Voided a lot recently. I have to say he's one of the most creative and fun people to snipe with and against. I can't decide if I like sniping against him or with him more. I love a good challenge and he sure makes for one. However, I have found myself getting much faster with my HS's against him.

Seems like your question is more "who is the best counter-sniper?" I personally rate players who go sniper a lot much higher on the "team player" list if they switch classes when needed rather than just camp spots that get them points instead of thinking about team strategy. But as far as raw skill, pop on over to pl_goldrush when Conqueror is on or pl_badwater when Out_Kold is on. Those two liquefy me a LOT. Out_Kold doubles as a decent Medic, too, which really ups my respect for him as a player.
tom_fig is always at the top of the scoreboard.
However, I do not think putting one team of snipers vs another team of snipers (like our events) proves who is the best.
For eGO I think foxtrotniner is going to be at the top always.
If I had to give a top 10 it would be:
1. Foxtrotniner
2. tom_fig
3. Myself
4. Deja Vu
5. Conqueror
6. {UFA} Trip
7. {UFA} TY
8. Clarko (Yeah you are somewhere up there
)
9. Shikaku
10. Out Kold
I could easily put Conqueror up there, but since I have played with him only a few times on only two maps, I cannot say. Same with the {UFA} boys. I only put myself up in the top three because I know I can play almost any map as sniper with a strong success rate.

Man. I've played many many hours of sniper on eGO servers and I've never sniped against any of these guys/girls. Near the beginning of February (when I have time to practice again), you guys gotta come visit me in Valve Maps.
