Gaming Mouse, Opinions Please.

My Fiance just got a Logitech MX revolution because she likes my MX 1000 so much, but they don't make those anymore. The MX Revolution is the successor to the MX 1000.

The MX Revolution is quite impressive for a wireless mouse. However, if you're not used to its weight, you'll be thrown off for a few days. I've been using my MX 1000 for several years now, and I love it so much that if it breaks down on me, I will snatch up an MX Revolution immediately. As good as the 1000 is, the Revolution is even better!

Unfortunately, they cost $80 on newegg, and even more everywhere else.

My Gaming mouse of Choice

Has to be my Razer Diamondback... standard mouse layout, 1800dpi, 7 buttons + wheel all programable and on-the-fly sensativity adjustment... it is tough to beat... had mine for 7 months and am about to purchase one to take to work for me... absolutely love it...

I'd stick away from wireless mice for gaming, resolution doesn't hold up unless it is bluetooth... a standard RF mouse can only handle 800dpi, since that is what the connection can handle...

Thats all that i can see. If you have the G5 already i can see where it can get dull and you want to shake it up. There are some REALLY good cheap ones, but if you are a true gamer then money is not an object =D

Oh, and the N52TE... I don't use mine, be willing to sell it for pretty cheap if you want it.
I bought one because my friend swore by it, he plays Conan, WoW, CoD 4/WaW, etc and he can't use the keyboard for games anymore, but I tried using it and can't get used to it. I love my ergonomic keyboard too much.

I use a Razer DeathAdder with ExactMat X Speed. Windex it a bit to keep it clean and it's super fast and accurate. I love this mouse!

As for a mouse, I use a Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000.

My only complaint is its very light.. no weight to it really but the cord is SUPER thin so it doesnt affect your usage. 5 buttons and I assign 1 to vent. wheel clicks for perfect selection of weapons but still smooth. Best of all, it cost me 20 bucks. (got the display half off in good condition)

the logitech G5 is great as mentioned earlier. funny enough my dad has that same trackball at work. I've always hated it though .

IF you're willing to give $100 i suggest you buy the Logitech MX Revolution. It's cordless, has a better design than the G5, it's rechargeable, and it has a lot of buttons plus a scroll wheel for the thumb. I think that this one rocks!

Mx revolution was on sale at best buy for $49.99 i got one for home and my office bought about 10 for the cad department... Can't beat it!!!

I got one of those too, it was worth the 60 bucks i spent. it really helps in gaming.

Trankballs, not the answer for gaming. If you ask me i say a $20 Kensington laser mouse. Make sure it goes in the USB port. The Others can be kinda iffy.
