Just throwing this idea out there....

What if we got all the best ego players of all the classes that make good frag clips (scout if really good, demo, soldier, crazy reflective pyros, shpah, sniper) and made an official edgegamer frag video? Do you think it would get shot down by all the ego haters? Would it be a project we could work on? Would it truly be an "official" (as in johnt/one of the council says it will be official).

Anyways, i'd do all the editing, but i would take any advice/effects the community wants in the video to heart.

How do you like this idea?
 
I don't really like the idea of a "frag video" parsay, but I'm all for something like training videos from various people in eGO, or machinima or such.
 
It sounds cool, but I don't think "official" is necessary. We don't need to prove how awesome we are.
 
The idea is a good thing, but it is kinda like "look at us how good we are" that is the downside of it. Don't know if everyone likes it as we do.

But still I would say it is a nice idea.
 
love the idea, its not rly meant to be look we are great its more look we know how to have a laugh and this is what we do,

The only people that would appreciate this are the ones IN eGO. The amount of people that hate us is much, much higher than our population.

I'll admit, some of the hate is deserved, I have seen some annoying admins. But overall we're good. But trust me, this isn't a good idea.

Also, why do we need to prove how great we are?
 
well yeah, like an official eGO is better than everyone sorta video wouldn't go down so well. But like an unofficial one of some cilps from good players is a nice idea and it might just happen that they are part of eGO.
 
i said no because id be hard to actully make a video and say this how eGO players pwn, but some of us dont "pwn", well theres gotta be some no?

You know, I actually proposed to higher ups about getting custom labeled energy drinks for donors. It didn't go over well. Anyway, right now I'm working on a better "ban in a can" for my spray.
 
Voted no, because I have no play consistly. some days I can not get a kill to save my life(a little joke) others I can not be killed without making a mess of other team.
 
The only proof we need is server ranks. A frag video would be silly, and a waste of time.
 
I agree with the others above me. But I'd like to add that a more 'fun' video couldn't hurt. Us messing around during events and what not, silly stuff that happens on the servers all the time, etc. Could help recruit more players, show everyone what we really are about- fun. :)

Everyone in eGO contributes to the amount of awesomeness we have. I agree with Xen. It's just common sense we are awesome.
 
To clarify, not everyone will be in it. Only the best of the best. Hardcore clips only.

Yeah.
All someone needs to do is join the server to see how awesome eGO is lol.

But a frag video would be good for recruiting in newbs and stuff. Just put it on NubeTube or something, and sooner or later newies will swarm in from different games.
 
seems to me it is still 50-50...

But only our best, our best two players according to our hlstatsx are engies ;)
