well, I've been unsuccessfuly attempting to utilize my SLi on my Asus AN-8 Fatal1ty Motherboard. I have Dual 9800 GSO's and I'm getting the common "Not Enough Resources" bit when attempting to initialize the 2nd card. This meaning that the IRQ's are the same for both cards.
I've attempted to contact Asus, and was left on hold for 2 and a half hours while waiting for a tech to assist me. I've attempted to contact the Fatal1ty company, and always get redirected to the "manufacturer", the afforementioned, unreachable Asus.
I've relegated myself to the depths of nonsense that are the NVidia.com forums, in a vain attempt to get some assistance. The people there are at a loss as to why I cannot manually assign an IRQ for the 2nd card. I've tried everything that is humanly possible. From Switching my PC to "Standard" mode in the device manager, to Completely wiping the HD, reinstalling XP, in an attempt for it to automatically assign the PCI-e slots their own individual IRQ.
I've since given up on this matter, and I reccommend that NO ONE purchase a damn thing from Asus, Abit, OR Fatal1ty. Their customer service is poor, and their Tech Support is completely nonesxistant.
Specs:
AMD 3200+ 2.0ghz (Upgrading SOOOOON)
Asus AN-8SLi Fatal1ty Edition MoBo
4GB Corsair RAM
80GB HD (yeah, it's old
)
Single Geforce 9800GSO ( cry my 2nd is wasting away! )
Audigy 5.1 S.C.
