I would like to know what it's going to take to get an INS participation for some of our scrim events. It seems every time we host an event, the same group of INS members show up and participate. They are the same group of INS members that ensure the servers are full, properly admind, and still having a good time.

If you do not know where to look to find what events are coming up, look to the site navigation box on the far left of the web site. Click the Calendar tab and find the dates marked with INS events. If you find an event you like, you can find what server and what the password is by going back to the site navigation box and clicking the Forums tab. Click Scrim/Event Info and Sticky: INS - Upcoming Events. Here you will find your required information.

The events we would like to host are:
e vs. eG
e vs. eGO
eG vs. eGO
Boot Camp
Road Trips

We have plenty to offer you but for some reason, we dont get the turn out were hoping for. I would really like to know what you would like for us to do? Until further notice, I'm halting all events except for Boot Camp and Road Trips. I need to know what we need to do to get more participation.

In order for the Road Trip to take affect, there will be a sign up roster. I cant see wasting anymore time guessing how many people will show up. If the roster does not get participants, the event will be canceled.

Gotcha......... I suppose maybe we should have it flash or something lol...... I mean we seriously need MORE people to look in the Calender once in a while. IT aint that hard people... PLUS! its fun!
However, getting the time factor in, why not you people tell Hammer or any of the Advisors or Big herm to maybe go for a different time and day to get the event going? Its always an option to change the event time guys.. ITs not a mandatory time .... So guys, if you are having trouble ajdusting time, PM the advisors or division leaders to DO something about that

If the time is a problem, we can change that. If there is anything else going on that is easily fixed...let us know.

Attendance for me has not been a problem. But the feedback from people has me thinking that saturday Afternoon events would get the best attendance.

For the younger players, they can get in on the action before bedtime. This also works better for players in some time zones outside of the U.S.

I don't know if that works for leadership. kids at home and whatnot, but maybe we can look at it.

would love to beat up on some eGOs.

As I would love to beat up on some e and eG's. Unfortunately, during our last 2 scrim tag events, I had to go through my friends list and request people help fill the event. We only had 5 or 6 e's and 5 or 6 eG's show up to partake in the event. The rest of the slots were filled by eGO's. What do we need to change to get a bigger participation?

My computer has 512mb of RAM, extremely horrible. It used to be able to run INS ok but now it just fails..

Same as you Kill_Me,not only that,i have school on all weekdays and it's kinda hard to try and come on.

Weekends are better for you 2. What times during the weekend?

This is almost solely the problem for me in attending the scrims. Both because my internet sucks during the time they are scheduled and also because I am on the west coast so the events occur right around dinner time (7pm pst). Either that or I forget. Maybe there could be a message that flashes on the normal servers so the people in game (i.e. the one's most likely to play) would know/be reminded about an upcoming scrim/event. Also, I agree with the several other people who want the scrims on the weekend for school/work reasons.

its a two-fer for me. 1) the times usually arnt good and 2) IMHO our own division doesnt do a good enough job at promoting the events.

i have NO clue as to what or when the next upcoming event is. To be honest i dont make it up to the scrim forum because i get lost in all the BS in there. Why our own events arnt listed in our own forums is lost on me. If your billybobjoe and want info on INS events. would you a) visit a generic forum with event info for 4-5-6 different divisions of eGO or would you b) go to the INS specific forums and look for INS event info.

If we want our events to be "sold out" we got to do a better job of promoting them. Mention them to other e_ _ members while in vent, in game, etc.

The problem for me, is that I play another game online. The event times for it, usually fall right in eGO's event time. So for me its having to pick and choose. Weekends are great for me.

I think we need to start a thread in advance of the event to find out which is the best time for everyone. I haven't been able to attend scrims because of being busy, also locking the server and kicking out pubs and only getting 20 people in there to participate in a event is for the most part is not a problem, but i think if we can assure that there will be a full server during the event would be a better alternative. e, eG, and eGO member feedback is a must when comming up with solutions to a problem.

every time an event shows up... im always so intense in a TF2 or CS:S match to drag myself away... sorry :(

Tell me what times (and time zones) work best
Lets get a consensus going

I agree with N1ghtmare. I didn't actually know events had their own forums until a few weeks ago :o because I only browse through division forums. I think we should at least post a thread in our own division discussion with a link to the event. For months I always wondered where I could find the passwords since just clicking on the link at the bottom of the Site Navigation doesn't take you there.
