Hey everyone. I thought I would share the TRUTH with you.


If it wasn't for Half Life 2, eGO wouldn't be here. Why? eGO was originally a DoD:S clan, and DoD:S is a mod, a mod of hl2. If hl2 wasn't here, there wouldn't be a DoD:S which means no eGO clan!

but I think the founders originally had a clan in dod 1.6, not eGO, but something with another name, RP or something.

Well since, they had the idea to create a clan (eGO). I am pretty sure, it would have been created. As there are more games then just Half-Life 2.

Now that's a deep thought. I guess we owe do owe it all to half-life 2 then. I know I'm going to get a lot of criticism for this, but I've never really played half-life. I watched my dad play the first one, and i played the demo for 2: episode 2, but I never got into it. But I guess it deserves my thanks.

Do not worry I own all Half-Life 2 games. And I still do not play any of them fully through, well unless using ~ to get to last level on first Half-Life 2 counts.

Just when you think it isn't a big deal, that you can disregard it as all because of one game, or one simple clan tag - it decides to knock you on your ass and become one of the largest, most mature and established PC gaming communities in existence.

eGO is what it is because of people. Good people. The games we play are reason only for why we're as well known as we are. But we TOTALLY would've found a way...

You mean DoD not DoD:S, DoD:S = Source, and DoD:s was never out before HL2

DoD was a mod for HL1.
