Someone on steam forums, named Voogru, was able to make a homing crit rocket sentry O___O

Warning the video with the pyros air compressing contains some foul language. It's a pub :\, so just mute the vid and watch it :]

that's ridiculous.. and incredibly creepy... Voogru has a community, it was the one I was in before this one... :o
 
I call hax. The soldier in the second video near the beginning fired a homing crocket. It's server side, and I assume it's just a mod. Lame.

If Valve makes homing sentries, I quit.

Actually the soldier's rocket don't home and I don't see that in the vid at all, he specifically made the homing rockets for the sentries only =].

ORLY?! You mean valve didn't release a dlc for homing sentry..I would've never guessed that because I swear I downloaded it along with the Sniper Updates.....-.-

It took some major skills to make the sentry home like that, some intense coding right there O_O, never thought it could be done :d...so it's not lame T.T

I wouldn't mind a homing sentery rockets if it was within reason. I mean a maxuiem of 10% (9degrees) to the left, right, up or down off center the fired line(where the rocket was lauched to) would not change game play that much. Nothing like the videos thou

Wow, that would be annoying all the time, but lots of fun to play every now and then.
 
so did he modify a file and host a server so all the sentry on the server are like that? or just his?
 
oh man, I used to play on all the voogru servers back when I played a lot of Natural Selection (i'm hoping im not the only one who did...)

This mod is awesome though--I want one
 
i remember seeing something like this before, i think valve really was going to have crit sentry rockets but they took it out (obvious reasons)
