So, looking through the achievments for the upcoming Scout Update, I noticed these 2 achievments

First Blood: Get the first kill in an arena match
First Blood, Part 2: Kill 5 enemies with the First Blood crit buff

So what this means, is whoever makes the first kill in a game of arena (possably other playmodes as well) will get a crit buff. It may be only a slight buff, as in not 100%, or it may be like a permanent kritzkrieg so long as the person survives.

So, what are your guys' thoughts on this?

notice, ARENA, it would be WAY over powered if it were ARENA...if it were a different gamemode maybe but not arena

I'm sure it's you get critz for 5 seconds if you were to kill the first person in arena. Notice it's not do it in one life.

But I'm not going to say whether I love it or hate it until I try it out.

This means, wehter you would like it or not, some sort of crit buff is making its way into arena. This is probably to quicken gameplay, and give the first team to score a kill an edge, ending the rounds quicker in some cases, as arena's biggest shove-away is the time it takes to get back into the action, especially if you died early in.

Notice the first blood says Arena only :] maybe the crit buff will also make it into all game modes and is limited to the scout :O which would be awesome!!!

All this achievment means is that I'm going to have to play arena until I get the achievments. Looking at the scouts achievment list, alot of them seem to require the new unlockables.

I voted for "Terrible! I HATE IT!" since crits in arena is just a big NO. Crits ruin arena, so does the random spread or anything else random in TF2. Arena is a very competetive mode, you can't have random crap like.

soldier+First Blood=OMGWTFBBQ FROM REALLY FAR AWAY BECAUSE C.ROCKETS ARE REALLY LAME LIKE THEM AND ALL AND I THINK THAT EVERYONE WOULD JUST CHOOSE SOLDIER AND GET THE MATCH DONE IN 20 SECONDS BECAUSE CRITS FROM ROCKETS JUST GO ANYWHERE AND BLOW UP ANYTHING IT SHOULDN"T ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF PHYSIQUE (<--not spelled right)
