I didnt mean to insult... i just consider the princess bride one of the best movies of ever. And when you said girly movies... the only thing i thought of were chick flicks... and that it most certainly is not.

And i dunno... some of the movies you guys have put in here... definitely would not classify as girly or chick flick type movies in the slightest.

not really girly but one of the best movies out there nonetheless

and i dont get insulted easily so dont worry about it :D I was just curious why you thought that, and i get why you do. i dont really see it as a girly movie either, but i see it as a great romantic movie so thats why i said i shouldve made the title different (it wont let me edit the title now)

Good movie, I enjoyed it - Robin Hood Men in Tights, another good movie. Mel Brooks makes alot of good Movies ;p

William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night with Helena Bonham Carter and Sir Ben Kingsly. What can I say, I like Shakespearian comedies.
 
Brave Heart, the patriot, the devil wears prada, 7 brides for seven Brothers .... i could keep going i LOVE musicals and ... O YE grease and grease 2 wear AWESOME. only 17 but LOVE classic movies and im kind of a sucker for sad movies as well .... im a strange 17 year old guy :D meh whatever i dont care im happy
 
The next person to describe Braveheart as a girly movie will pay with their spleen. It may not be accurate, but it's certainly not girly.

And back to the topic, the girliest movie I actually enjoy is The Color Purple. Whether it's girly or not is up to debate, but it's certainly a damn sight more girly than Braveheart.

I would have to say the notebook, though it isn't really a girly movie, it's just a simply awesome romantic-till-it-hurts movie!:D

No no, definitely a girly movie.... i watched it once, that is like the chick flick to end all chick flicks. Once was enough for me though.

heh, i watched it once throughout with a bunch of friends, and i tried to watch it with my gf 3 times, but for some strange reason we never managed to finish it=p
i like the underlying message and the acting, but yeah, the whole idea is a bit too sloppy
