Final Fantasy!

Cheap, and so addicting, since this thread I went back and started playing KH Chain of
Memories on the GBA.....:D

Thanks FrazarMan

Dont worry I thought the card system was pretty confusing as well. Especially when it
came down to finding the only key to open a door to a cut-scene :(

which you think is better?
FF7 Materia syestem?
FF 10 Sphere Grid?
FF 1-6 Job syestem?
you get the idea.

Personally, I like the Job system the most. I don't know why, I always liked it. However, FFX is still my favourite Final Fantasy game. I always enjoyed playing it. And as Peter already said, FFVII is overrated. :p

job system was the best, x-2 didnt do it well :/ was dissapointed.

meteria and spere grid are both gret aswell, i found the spere grid very addictive

The sphere grid is my favorite... u can make Yuna hit for 99,999 if u have no life and are bored :D
Best Mini game?
For me its Tetra Master from FF9 and FF11

I loved Materia but I had fits of glee with the FF12 command system. As someone who enjoys programming, I found it tons of fun to program complete total AI control that was very effective. All I did was run into things and the game did the rest. Got to enjoy the story lots.

yes, that was great if ff12, but against the harder posses like the last few hunts and the harder summons they where not as useful :p

FF12 was weird... i didnt like the fact i had no idea where the skills were.

I have FFVII through FFXII (including FFX-2 and FFXI). I also have one of the gameboy games, but I can't recall which.

I liked the license system in FFXII a lot, because it seemed to allow you to customize your characters pretty freely. You weren't really locked into one particular character always being focused on one particular fighting style.

I do recall really liking the Materia system, but it's been so long that I've played it that I can't remember the specifics. I keep praying that this is one of the games Square-Enix will add to Steam's catalogue.

i see what you mean about the customization... but you can say that for FF 1-6 and tactics with the job systems and FF 10-2. I didnt like it because the first round of going through it you had no idea where or what you were doing. The Materia system was good because there were SO many ways to cheat with it. Same with FF9's weapons system... you would be unbeatable.

Now I think its time to move onto Final Weapons :D
Has ANYONE ever gotten Steiner's Final wep in FF9? The 12 hour challenge to beat them game and get to Hades at the end?

Also my favorite final wep is Wakka's Blitzball. Because hes unstoppable and its just plain out fun to get it (300 hours of Blitzball pays off!)
