Need to decide here.

Why are you buying another OS? I'm confused as to if you already have an OS.
You don't need another OS to run multiple harddrives....
It just needs to be running as a Slave and the HD with the OS needs to be set as Master drive.

Well i just want to use that HD, Not the 160 i want to get rid of the 160 i want the 320 so can i install XP on that HD?

By it's self is what i mean, :)

Thanks guys.

Oh i see what you mean ^^^ Thanks, And great find there chaos

Thanks guy's sorry if i posted again, $71.95 Good price, And my dad can put XP that HD, Forgot.

That's the other thing people say the sata drives make less noise so i will be happy with that!

Ya, as long as you bought XP you can put it on....I can't remember the number but multiple installs.
PS: No reason to get rid of other HD. Just make it a slave drive.

Well i think that XP would be better becasue vista is complicated and many games dont work on it.
and yes u can instal XP on the HD actually i think u can instal XP on any HD casue its just a HD :]

Vista takes up much more system resources.

While there's nothing wrong with it if it's the only thing you could use, I would still prefer to use XP overall.

In other words, it's not an upgrade, but there's nothing wrong with it.

If you're running an old Pentium with 1GB of ram, yes, XP would be more useable and responsive. For people with a C2D and 2GB or more, there is no reason to use XP. What's the point of having all that free memory? It's like how people buy a 500GB HDD and complain about a certain game taking up 10GB...well, that's why you have all that storage, to be used.

If its not being used, its being wasted. Vista uses more RAM compared to XP, but it uses that memory far more efficiently.

hey hardhat do u run vista casue now i want to switch... casue my computer is only noticing 2048 GB of ram and i dont want the rest of my 4 GB to be wasted....
