my mom has a '69 280z. i used to take it out once a month just to keep it from freezing up. but haven't done that in a while. when i get healed up, i need to go work on it. she dont' drive it anyway. she's probably just give it to me.

EDIT: after looking at some google images, i'm not sure its a '69... but its an early year model...

OMG that Stang is sicksauce. I love that style.

Only 175 in that thing? Looks like it can do a little more! I've hit 170 maximum(which is what the speedo tops out at), wrapped out in 5th gear at 7500 rpms... it wouldnt go any higher. It took about a minute or more to get going that fast though, got to 140ish very quick but after that it kind of went up slower. I can say that was the craziest feeling in the world, with the best adrenaline rush. Probably the scariest time in my life, period. I mean, if you hit anything in the road at all you're liable to fly off the highway and flip your car about 2,000 times . Although speedos in cars are known to be off when traveling that fast, so you could have been going slower than what it reads.


Also I like those old Z's, my friend had bought two at the same time that looked like that (1985(turbo) and one 1986(non turbo) I like the way they have that old muscle car feel when you are driving, and for a 6 cylinder it sounds almost like a 5.0

only thing you could have done better is got the 8L lol but that thing is sick. 454 FTW!

I don't think so. The 8.1L wasnt offered untill 1999 when they made the body style all ugly. Also, there are way more aftermarket parts available for a 454 engine... Go figure, its been around for almost 40 years now.
