Sniper Update Time of Release

Ugh I have mixed feelings about this. I, myself could be called an alright sniper, I'm in the range of can kill most other snipers, but there are still some who are way better than me. So I'll enjoy the sniper update when I get the weapons, but I see 2fort just dying.

If they releash it like the others, it should be out the last week of this month, if not next month the same way, they already have the jar done, so I'm betting this month.

Spy Rush is hilarious.

I took part once in a a Dustbowl server, 12 vs. 12, on the first stage.

Man, were they surprised when basically their entire team got backstabbed within 10 seconds.

Actually, the TF2 coding team probably wasn't hurt very much for L4D since they were entirely different teams. It was probably just that there were a lot of bugs that needed a lot of code fixing (such as rewritting a large chunk of the 360 code so they can fit the updates there).

Even thou they are different teams its still programing, so like most industrys it involves dates that have to be met(aka L4D's release date). When the date draws near and they are no where close to finishing it, they "throw bodys at it". In other words they slow everything else down to get the last issues out. Or thats what engineers call it. Thats might have been why they pushed back the scout update.

To expand on this a little, remember Valve is a business first. So they are going to work firstly on the thing that makes them money, which is why Scout Update was pretty much half-assed, because the greater part of the time they were working on it, they were working on L4D. Right now, they are probably working on the Xbawks update more so than the sniper update due to the fact MS makes them pay, ergo, more money for Valve.

Smart snipers will team up and have an engy to watch their backs.

The updates' main purpose was to always add a new style of play to the class. Hopefully snipers will do more than that now. Although I'll always admire the brave snipers that run in with their machete.

Yes, I do some people thought, the scouts update was the spy, and we know how wrong they are now. Also they already done the rendering to the spy model after the jar hits, and it could be a great weapon for the sniper, it might stun the enemy after getting hits.

I agree with Omni...

I love playing Sniper, but I only play when it's a max of 1 other sniper - which isn't too often.

I like to be conscious of the team class structure because I think it plays a large part in how your team does.

Especially on Dustbowl.

If they already have it all planned out i wouldnt be surprised if it was released sooner rather than later...
