I think I asked someone to not say, "Damn It!" once in TF2 and was corrected because the engie in TF2 says it all of the time. Some words are hard to judge though because they are culturally instulting. I say fricken a lot which is german for the F word. You will never hear me say the F word. I remember once when I first joined eGO i was yelled at for saying fricken. I told the admin that I would stop but it wasn't a bad word.

Bloody Wanker is another word that is like that. But you can say that too me as much as you want because I am just going to laugh at you.


As for the ping thing, i have seen times when someone with a 1000 ping has lagged a server. I think people are normally in the 100s though so that shouldn't be a problem. But the higher your ping is the more likely you are going to get killed by someone with a lower ping. Just the way it works.

The type of people you are talking about are just ignorant jerks, and you are correct, someones ping will only affect there game and not other peoples game.
 
For me as a e and having over 300 ping,
It doesn't effect me that much
I jst get used to it XDD

Bravo Company, what you have to realise is that it is not always the word you say but the context in which you say it, if for example if you told another player to "piss off" that would be offensive. Like so many other words, you should consider what you say and to whom. The old saying "if you can't say something nice don't say anything" should always be adhered to.
At ego we have a large variety of people from all walks of life so a religious person or a female would be more offended than a street person.
So you can see admins are there to help stop people from being offended but not all of us can be 100% right all the time.

Consider it more like us simply trying to help, not being "eGO"tistical.(I made a funny.)

i don't ever tell someone to watch their language or whatever the situation happens to be if theres an eG or an eGO. I let them handle it.

Sometimes small things could be overlooked, too. It's simply helping out. Recently, for example, I found our Kalt server full of people who were breaking the rules, so I asked them to stop. No eG's or eGO's were present. I then went to another server to inform admins about it. Is that really all that bad?

no no no no no i'm saying that if theres is a eG or eGO present i wont say anything ile let them handle it. but if there isent ile say like watch your language please and stuff like that. you know the normal stuff.

Ok guys, Everyone knows the rules to our server and if they don't they should look at them. While in a game, if a problem of any kind in the server happens, the higher person in the organization. should handle it. Meaning if there is an eGO present, let them handle it cause they have more experience. If no eGO then eG. Im not talking about when like someone curses and everybody says "watch your language" I am talking about when a problem is being dealt with. And if someone is dealing with a problem you do not butt in, let them handle it and if they happen to be wrong, they will get corrected later. If you have a problem with what a member is saying, send an adviser a pm about the situation and we will deal with it, if there is anything needed to be done.
